Samurai Shiraz Free Run Juice, ripe and juicy Aussie red, crimson red, sweet plum, spice and vanilla. From Angaston in South Australia, a warm climate for the dark Shiraz or Syrah grape, this little gem of a red wine (with a strangely alluring label, ‘Tastes like Ninjas’) offers vibrant, juicy red wine from the New World at a great price point. The wine tastes full, slightly sweet and bold. All the stars lining up for a great buy.

I first tasted this wine a couple of years ago in a natural wine bar in Leeds and have loved it ever since then, so I was thrilled to find it online when the bar sadly closed. 🙁

It’s an easy-going kind of tipple, the word ‘juice’ in the name isn’t a misnomer at all, it’s fruity and peachy with notes of vanilla and all-in-all a lovely sipper for the evening.

That said, it’s not *too* light either, with just the right balance of fruit and dryness.

    Highly recommended!!

As the name suggests this is a super juicy Shiraz.

As good a wine as you can get for under a tenner, and a great introduction to natty wines.

Really easy drinking and fruity; but with enough complexity to ask for another sip, highly recommend!

This is such good value and really delicious. I keep re-purchasing as it’s a wine for all occasions and I like to gift it as an intro to natural wines for friends

Nice balance of flavors and has a bold finish

This wine is delicious, very deep and juicy as they suggest. Easy drinking on its own, and as it’s a natural wine no yucky fuzzy head for me the next day! Will definitely be buying this one again, I think it may well be our new fave!
