Saumur Champigny Domaine des Roches Neuves Thierry Germain, biodynamic wine, fresh Cabernet Franc, ideal for chilling with fresh chops cooked over coals! The basic Cuvée Domaine is garnet with purple tints, exhibits lively aromas of irises, violets and red fruits, a balanced and ripe palate, harmonious and full and a smoky finish with subtle tannins. A cool and delicious natural red, the type of wine you drink bucket loads and it doesn’t touch the sides (we of course don’t advocate such behaviour but the wine is very good!).

Angela Marshall –
This is not an area of wine I would generally choose, but decided to give it a try for a change. It was most enjoyable with our mixed charcuterie and cheese board over a lunch in the garden. Sadly the wine was finished very qucikly!
