Cidre This Sider Up Cyril Zangs, Normandy Cider, racy, crisp, minerally cider. Wine disguised as cider!  This particular cider is made from 9 varieties from a single orchard. Earthy, complex but with lovely freshness .  You have to wash down some cheese and ham galettes with a bottle of this.  As a low abv alternative to a bottle of wine, Cidre This Sider Up is amazing.

Settled in Glos, Cyril Zangs is one of the greatest producers of cider in Normandy. A passionate and intriguing figure, he cultivates his 30 varieties of apple trees like a winemaker cultivates his vines. He has the added difficulty that apple trees can only be harvested every other year.  Cyril advocates all things natural so everything is done organically/biodynamically in the orchards. With his unique, old school approach to making cider, eg mixing different apple varieties (sweet, bittersweet, bitter, sour, tart), Cyril crafts gourmet ciders with more complexity, depth and freshness than the majority produced in the region.
