Thornborough Yorkshire Cider 750ml, dry, traditional, artisan cider, made in the Champagne style with long maturation in the bottle on the lees. Made from locally sourced apples, using a traditional rack-and-cloth press, Thornborough Cider is a deliciously complex, traditional cider which is worlds away from the sweet, fruit flavoured ciders which are the trend these days. Using only Natural yeast fermentation, no filtration, pasteurisation or added sulphites, the result is a pure, sparkling cider of real quality. The larger format is made like a Champagne and spends a long time, in some cases up to 18 months maturing in bottle on the lees. This leads to more complexity and also strangely freshness. It is without superb value for money when many ciders made this way are closer to £15 or £20 a bottle.
