Valle di Nero Vin Rouge Abbatucci, biodynamic, rare red wine, full bodied, full of style and character, beautifully elegant, a real treat. This wine is made from Carcajolo Nero, a rare grape variety truly native to Corsica that not so long ago risked total extinction, and has been revived by esteemed winemaker Jean-Charles Abbatucci. A stunning complex red wine, both rich and fresh, herbs and rich fruits abound. Corsican wine, particularly at the premium end can be overlooked in favour of more recognisable regions and varieties. A real shame, these wines are truly stunning, intense and textured and taste every bit as important as a top Burgundy, Claret or Chateauneuf.
