Verdicchio Le Oche Dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Fattoria San Lorenzo, biodynamic, golden, intense, nutty white wine. This is an intense style of biodynamically-farmed single vineyard Verdicchio from the original DOC, which derives its complex flavours from vat-ageing and lees contact.  Verdicchio Le Oche is a yellow-gold colour, with aromas of warm apricots, toasted hazelnuts and ginger.  It builds in the mouth, and is given definition by excellent citrus acidity. Good with squid, lobster bisque or other white fish.

Fattoria San Lorenzo is a third generation family winery, run by Natalino and his family in Montecaretto, that is completely organic and biodynamic and also include an organic olive grove.

The farm is rich in biodiversity, with dozens of farm animals, (some of which lend their names to his wines, such as the Goose). He believes manual farming is the best way to maintain the health of the vines, and his skill as a winemaker is testified by the fact that his wines are so ageworthy - his top Verdicchios age like a bold Chablis.
