Rosso di Caparsa, organic, Sangiovese, floral, medium bodied, traditional. Rosso di Caparsa is an Organic wine made mostly from Sangiovese from the heart of Tuscany. All the characteristics of traditional Chianti, yet fresh, not too heavy and floral due to blending with Trebbiano and Malvasia, resulting in a very approachable Tuscan wine drinking beautifully young compared with its big brothers.

Tenuto Caparsa, from Radda in Chianti grows mostly Sangiovese, working Organically and promoting biodiversity so as to retain the characteristics of the grape and the vineyard. The vines grow in gallestro and alberese soils, working hard to get water from the rocky ground. The winemaker Cianferoni maintains “When life is too easy it becomes boring, and you kill yourself” he said. We need toil to sustain us, and so do vines." The estate produces a total of 20,000 bottles a year of all his cuvees.
