Details

Pomario Sariano Sangiovese, Organic Wine, elegant and authentic Sangiovese, you taste the ground, the animal and the forest fruits of the Sangiovese grape, delicious Italian red wine. Low yielding old vines of Sangiovese, organic production, and a fantastic soil combine to make austere wines of finesse and freshness. Sariano is the purest of Sangiovese, crispy acidity, nuanced and savoury, a very authentic glass of Italian wine oozing Autumnal flavours from the bread basket of Italy.

The Spalletti Trivelli family own this mystical old vineyard site which yields fruit from old vines of Sangiovese, Trebbiano and Malvasia dating back to the 60s . The environment is totally natural and the complex soils with fossils, sand and silt make for outstanding fruit quality. Here in the heart of Umbria, nature and the vine find perfect symbiosis and the wines taste of autumn leaves with notes of dappled light and calm.
