Sauvignon Blanc Trinqu'ames Delecheneau, Loire Valley, crisp, lively Sauvignon. A lovely little Touraine style Sauvignon, lutte-raisonnee, from Damien and Coralie Delecheneau of La Grange Tiphaine (though this particular wine is only vinified by them). Thirst quenching, minerally with a lovely herbaceousness. I once heard this described as the fun substitute teacher for Sancerre that you don't want to leave, and I rather like that description. Good value, great drinking!

Coralie and Damien Delecheneau took over the family estate in 2002 and are now writing a few new pages in its long history. Harvesting everything by hand - the Chenin in successive tris - the grapes are gently pressed in a pneumatic press before being transferred by gravity to cold settle in inert vats in the winery below. Fermentations are very much plot by plot and mainly variety by variety – with the exception of a plot planted with a mix of grolleau, gamay and malbec that goes to make the delightful Tournage Riant rosé. The stars are the barrel fermented dry Clef de Sol Montlouis and red Clef de Sol Touraine - Amboise, the wonderfully rich oak-matured (and unfiltered) cabernet franc Bécarre and the remarkable malbec Côt Vieilles Vignes but all the wines shine with natural freshness and are immensely pleasurable. Certified organic by ECOCERT since 2008, and biodynamic by BIODYVIN since 2014
