Details

Silent Pool Rose Albury Vineyards Organic English Wine, light, crisp, strawberries. Silent Pool Rose from Albury Vineyards near Guildford is inspired by the local legend of a beautiful young maiden who drowned in a lake of crystal clear water adjacent to the vineyard to escape the clutches of King John and now haunts the area. It is a delicious, light rose at 10.5% abv., with notes of fresh English strawberries and tart cherries, crisp and subtle. It is certified organic and made with biodynamic Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes.

Albury Vineyard is the result of Nick Wenman's passion for quality wine. Nick planted the vineyard in 2009 having retired from the IT industry to fulfil his dream of owning a vineyard. Nick believes that key to the sucess of the wines is the vineyard's committment to organic and biodynamic principles, together with excellent winemakers and his talented vineyard manager Alex, one of the few female vineyard managers in England.
