Guy Allion Sauvignon Blanc, citrus and crispiness all the way. A great quality zippy fresh white wine which keep you filling your glass with over and over again! Although not organic, the vineyard operates a 'lutte raisonnee' approach using as little chemical treatments as possible. The result is delicious, clean, with uplifting notes of elder-flower, cut grass, asparagus and crunchy apples. Very easy to enjoy and with 12% alcohol the half bottle is even more perfect for lunch with an asparagus omelette and Parmesan and a fresh salad of greens. Healthy and delicious!
Domaine Guy Allion has been in the Allion family for 4 generations, though was only really dedicated to wine production in the late 1960s. Cedric Allion, son of Guy, now runs the estate. This domaine with its beautiful Touraine-style house made out of tufa produces first class Sauvignon from vines grown on perruche (sandy-clay) soil. The estate is managed according to the Terra Vitis programme, a codified system which posits not only respect for the environment but knowledge of the land, parcel by parcel. This sensitivity to the environment means that natural rather than chemical solutions can be pursued in the vineyard. The grapes are picked at maximum ripeness and immediately transported to the winery to prevent oxidation.

Guy Allion Sauvignon Blanc, is a fantastic wine, it is a crisp wine with delicious citrus and fruity flavours, a good tasting wine which goes great with fish or seafood. Love it.
