Le Tour Femmes Mixed Case 2023 – 6 bottles
Professional cycling has always been a testosterone fueled male dominated sport. However, the top ladies are just as tough, just as talented, and just as incredible athletes. Sadly, as with some other sports, woman’s cycling operates in the shadow of the men. But quietly in the background, it has been growing in popularity and level and now after many years without it, the TOUR DE FRANCE FEMMES is back once again and promises to be as spectacular as last years!
Like last year we thought that we would make up a fantastic case of wine to go with the women’s race like we did for the men’s.
We have managed to stay pretty closely to the route this year with wines from the Auvergne, the location of the Grand Depart, then as the race goes south, we head towards Cahors, Gaillac and Minervois before finishing in Pau the home of Jurancon. This really is stunning case of wine and would be a great mix at any time of year but even better for watching the ladies speed across the beautiful French landscape. Enjoy!
